I am thrilled and honored to serve as the new Pool Director for the Rolling Hills Country Club. My aquatics career began in the summers when I started teaching swimming and lifeguarding at age 15, and it continues to this day. I worked many years as Assistant Waterfront Director and then Waterfront Director for the Town of Fairfield and most recently as Beach Manager at the Country Club of Fairfield. In the “off” season my primary vocation is geography. I hold a doctorate in geography and teach geography and other social science courses at several local universities. I attended Mount Holyoke College and did my graduate work at Syracuse University. I am not married, but I do have a long-term partner, Liam Burke, who works as a lawyer in Fairfield. Yes, we met as lifeguards. I look forward to meeting the Rolling Hills membership and providing a fun, safe pool experience for members and their guests this summer and hopefully for years to come!
