Ray has served as the Head Golf Professional at Rolling Hills Country Club since 2003. Before Rolling Hills, he held positions as a Teaching Professional at Piping Rock Club from 1994 to 2000 and as Director of Instruction at Quaker Ridge from 2001 to 2003. A PGA member for 27 years, Ray's dedication to the game is evident through his continuous pursuit of knowledge, having learned from over 20 Top 100 golf instructors. Specializing in video analysis, short game, and putting, Ray is committed to helping others gain their full potential and enhance their enjoyment of golf.
His passion extends beyond the course, as demonstrated by his receipt of the Met PGA Patriot Award in 2013 and 2015 for his support of military veterans and families through organizations like Folds of Honor and PGA Hope. Additionally, Ray's contributions have earned him selection to six Metropolitan Squire Cup Teams, recognized for playing ability, professional development, and leadership. With five hole-in-ones, a robust tournament history and participation in numerous championships including the 2013 PGA National Championship, Ray's expertise is matched by his love for the game and seeing others excel. Off the course, he resides in Ridgefield with his wife Michele Ford, and their twins, Eli and Olivia.
